Scan, install and set up eSIM on your mobile device

iPhone eSIM scanning installation process
1. Open the native camera and scan your eSIM QR CODE.
2. Click Continue to allow the camera to enable eSIM.
3. Click Continue to download and install the eSIM.
4. Once the installation is complete, the eSIM will start counting down.
5. Tap the newly added eSIM.
6. Confirm that the eSIM number is enabled and data roaming is turned on.

Pixel Phone eSIM scanning installation process
1. Open "Settings" → "Network & Internet".
2. Click the "+" symbol next to the SIM card.
3. Tap Switch Download SIM at the bottom of the screen.
4. Click "Continue" at the bottom of the screen.
5. Scan your eSIM QR CODE.
6. Click "Download" at the bottom of the screen.
7. Complete the process and click Set.
8. Click on the eSIM that has been installed.
9. Turn on "Use SIM card" and the eSIM plan will start counting down.

Manually enter information to install and set up eSIM process

iPhone eSIM manual entry installation process
1. Open "Settings" and go to "Mobile Services".
2. Click "Add eSIM".
3. Select "Use mobile barcode".
4. Click "Manually enter details" at the bottom.
5. Enter the "SM-DP+ Address" and "Activation Code", and click "Next" in the upper right corner. (eSIM information can be viewed in the eSIM email)
6. Click "Continue" to download and install the eSIM.
7. Once the installation is complete, the eSIM plan is immediately activated and starts counting usage time.
8. In "Settings", tap the installed eSIM.
9. Confirm that the eSIM number is activated and data roaming is turned on.

Manual installation process for Pixel phones
1. Open "Settings" → "Network & Internet".
2. Tap the "+" icon next to the SIM card.
3. Click "Download SIM card instead?" at the bottom.
4. Click "Continue" at the bottom right.
5. Click "Need help?" at the bottom left.
6. Click Manual Input.
7. Enter the "eSIM Manufacturer Code" and click "Continue". (eSIM information can be viewed in the eSIM email)
8. Click Download.
9. Click "Set" and select the installed eSIM.
10. Enable "SIM card" and start calculating eSIM usage time.

How do I set up my APN?

If you want to check or manually set your APN, please follow the steps below:

iOS:
- Go to "Settings"
- Click on "Action Data"
- Select the eSIM you want to use
- Click on "Mobile Data Network"
- In the Mobile Data APN field, enter the APN provided in the eSIM email

Android:
- Go to "Settings"
- Select the eSIM you want to use in the "Network & Internet" section
- Click on the Access Point Name
- Add or enter the APN provided in the eSIM email

I have no internet connection after installing the eSIM, what should I do?

Please check the following items and then restart the computer and wait for 1-2 minutes:

  • Confirmation of arrival at destination
  • Confirm that airplane mode is turned off
  • Confirm that roaming is turned on
  • Confirm the APN information. If the APN information is different from the information in the eSIM email, please enter the APN manually.
  • Turn off "Automatically select a carrier" and switch to manual selection of carriers, and select the carrier for the eSIM plan

If you have tried the above settings but still have no internet connection, please contact our customer service immediately. In order for our customer service to handle your connection problem more efficiently, please provide the following information:

  • eSIM ICCID
  • Your phone model
  • Your location, for example, Japan - Tokyo Station

Can I use multiple eSIM plans at the same time?

A device can have multiple eSIMs installed. For example, if you have installed an eSIM for Hong Kong, but you temporarily want to go to Japan. Well, you can just buy and install a Japanese eSIM in a store and then switch to it.

Can eSIM plans be reused?

Each eSIM exists independently and cannot be used once the validity period expires. If you need to increase the amount of data or days, you will need to purchase it again.

Can the eSIM plan be suspended?

After the eSIM plan is scanned and installed, the time calculation of the plan cannot be suspended. It is recommended that you scan and install the eSIM QR Code on the day you arrive at your destination.

The eSIM plan cannot be suspended, but if you have multiple eSIMs at the same time, you can switch between them without affecting the validity period.

Can I install the same eSIM in different phones?

An eSIM can only be installed on one mobile device and once activated it cannot be installed or activated on other mobile devices.

How long is the eSIM plan valid for?

Please scan and install your eSIM plan within 30 days of purchase.

The validity period of the eSIM plan starts upon installation. The calculation starts from the current day until 23:59 (UTC+8) and expires at 23:59 (UTC+8) on the last day.

What if I accidentally deleted my eSIM plan?

If you accidentally delete your eSIM plan, it will no longer be valid and cannot be restored. Please purchase a new plan.

How do I delete my eSIM when I'm done using it?

After using the eSIM, you can manually delete it in "Settings" to avoid causing instability in the original telecom network of your phone.

Physical SIM Card Instructions

Will the physical SIM card fit my phone?

The physical SIM cards provided by Liuzai are all 3-in-1 SIM cards, supporting three sizes: mini, micro, and nano, meeting the requirements of 99% of mobile phone models.

What devices are supported by the physical SIM card?

It cannot be used on Sharp, Google pixel 8 and above series, Samsung A51, Samsung J series, HTC, LG, Sony, ASUS, ROG, unknown brand mobile phones, sharing devices, copycat phones, card-locked phones, Asia-Pacific phones, customized phones, and phones from China, Hong Kong and Macau. Some older models before 2020 are not supported by the operating system, so it is recommended to bring other mobile phones as backup.

How to install a physical SIM card

Use a SIM card pin to remove the SIM card slot from the phone. If it is a single-SIM phone, please remove the original SIM card and replace it with a new SIM card. If it is a dual-SIM phone, please place the physical SIM card of Liuzai in the SIM 1 position. After installing the SIM card, go to Settings and turn on Data Roaming.

What should I do if the physical SIM card cannot connect to the network?

If you insert the card but there is no signal after arriving at your destination, please check the following items first:

  • Confirm that data roaming is turned on
  • Confirm the APN information. If the APN information is different from the information in the eSIM email, please enter the APN manually.
  • Turn off "Automatically select a carrier" and switch to manual selection of carriers, and select the carrier for the eSIM plan

How to confirm the purchase is successful?

After purchasing the product, Liuzai will immediately send an "Order Confirmed" email notification.

How long does it take to receive the eSIM after purchasing it?

Once you purchase an eSIM and complete the payment, you will receive an eSIM QR code via email within 10 minutes. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder or contact customer service.

After purchasing a physical SIM card, how long will it take to receive it?

Once you purchase a SIM card and complete the payment, it will generally take about 2-3 days to receive the SIM card. The mail will be sent via Chunghwa Post registered mail. Please be sure to fill in the correct information and the address where you can sign for it.

If there are large shopping promotions, consecutive holidays, etc., it may affect the arrival time of the goods.
