I have no problem turning on personal hotspot sharing in Taiwan, so why can’t I turn on the hotspot after changing the network card when I go abroad?
First, please confirm whether your network card supports the hotspot sharing function. Most of the "all you can eat" plans of travel network cards on the market do not support hotspot sharing, and the card may be locked if it is enabled.
If you have confirmed that hotspot sharing is supported but cannot be enabled, you can set it up by following the steps below:
(The following setting method is only for IPhone phones)
—
Step 1: "Settings" > "Mobile Services" > "Mobile Data Network"
There are four major sections from top to bottom: "Mobile Data", "LTE Settings", "MMS", and "Personal Hotspot"
Step 2: Edit the APN field of Personal Hotspot
exist Enter the same APN information in the APN fields of "Mobile Data" and "Personal Hotspot". The APN information of Liuzai Telecom will be marked on the network card packaging, or you can ask the network card manufacturer.
Step 3: After the previous step is completed, you can go back to "Settings" > "Personal Hotspot" to turn on the personal hotspot
